Community Wholeness
Community Wholeness provides free services to mountain residents ages 16–59, including mental health education, suicide prevention training, and emotional support.
No diagnosis or paperwork is needed, just a willingness to learn, grow, or find support
Classes
Our classes give individuals the tools to support themselves and others. Learn how to recognize mental health concerns, suicide prevention, respond in a crisis, and connect people to help through programs like our Mental Health First Aid course. Our classes can be customized to meet the needs of a particular group, school, workplace, or organization.
Support and Therapy
Support can make all the difference. Our services include free therapy and peer-based support groups for teens and adults. We cover topics like suicide bereavement, anxiety, depression, and more.
Older Adult Community Services
We help mountain seniors maintain independence, improve their mental health, and stay connected.
Our services meet emotional, social, and logistical needs through individual care and group-based support.
Individual Support and Therapy
Our trained professionals visit older adults in their homes to coordinate care, and identify their needs related to safety, health, and emotional well-being.
Groups and Community Events
We host social gatherings, peer support groups, and practical workshops to help older adults build community and stay informed on important topics, such as health tips and scam prevention.
Substance Misuse Prevention
Environmental Prevention and Services utilize strategies and efforts to change the conditions within a community, including physical, social, or cultural factors that may lead to substance use.
The services focus on creating an environment that makes it easier for people to act in healthy ways.
Designated Driver Programs
From Big Bear to Crestline, we’re teaming up with local businesses to thank designated drivers for keeping our roads safe. Do you know an organization that might want to participate? Send them our way.
Community Coalitions
Local coalitions are the backbone of our prevention strategy. These volunteer groups bring together community members, parents, educators, teens, and law enforcement to find ways to reduce youth access and use of substances through policy advocacy, alternative activities for youth and more.
