Alcohol and Drug CounselingRim Family Services is a State Licensed Outpatient Treatment facility serving both adults and teens. All treatment staff are certified, State Registered Addiction Specialists or RASi's. Our Agency and our staff are certified in the science based, NIDA approved Matrix Model Treatment Program. Our intensive outpatient and regular outpatient programs provide individual and group counseling services. Groups include but are not limited to topics such as; relapse prevention, understanding triggers, life skills, building healthy relationships, congnitive reconstructions, family dynamics and refusal skills. We encourage our clients to attend 12-step and 12-step similar support groups in addition to their treatment program. Rim Family Services accepts MediCal,CalWORKS and Children and Family Services referred clients at no cost. A 17 year contract with the County of San Bernardino, Alcohol and Drug Services, allows us the ability to provide substance abuse treatment for our clients for a nominal fee. All other clients are eligible for our low cost private pay program: $25.00 per individual and $10.00 per group service. All clients participate in an intake process that includes an addiction severity index assessment. Following this comprehensive assessment, the client and their counselor develop a treatment plan customized to their needs. Outpatient treatment programs are generally 4 to 6 months in duration.
