DVD showings of Hazelden Life Skills Films at 10:00 a.m. Monday through Thursday.6 rotating topics include; Looking For Work, Values & Personal Responsibility, Making Decisions, Managing Money, Hygiene & Self-Care and Refusal Skills.

Meet Valerie, Rim Family Services 'Professional Neighbor'

Hello,

My name is Valerie Dobesh, you will see me in our Mobile Resource Center(MRC).

The San Bernardino Mountains have been my home for 27 years. Everyday I feel blessed to live on our mountains among all the beauty that surrounds us. I am married to a great guy and have raised two wonderful sons. Some of you may recognize me from my days managing retail nurseries here on the mountain. My passion will always be gardening and learning the herbal remedies from the grandmothers. I also love to sew and design clothes for special gatherings.

I enjoy seeing old friends and making new ones. Currently I am the prevention and resource counselor on the MRC. Next time you see the MRC in your community, please stop by and say hello! Find out about our services and other services down the hill.
