DUI/DEJ Programs End February 28, 2021
It has been our privilege providing DUI/DEJ services for our community residents for more than 20+ years. We have decided to end our DUI/DEJ Program on February 28, 2021. This decision has not been easy and it saddens us. Our losses this fiscal year thus far exceed program revenue. We simply cannot continue losing money like this. To continuing would inevitably bring down our entire agency.
The negative financial impact of COVID-19 is real. DUI/DEJ arrests are down in our state. Subsequently so are enrollment numbers in our program. Our current enrollment and forecast enrollment with its associated fee structure has not and will not sustain our programs minimum operating costs into the future.
Existing clients will be assisted through this process. Those who can complete their program by the end of February will do so. Those who have programs that require services beyond February will be transferred to surrounding DUI/DEJ programs.
We are sincerely sorry for any inconvenience this may cause our clients and community. We have tried our best.
