The Rim Communities for Youth Coalition will be hosting an evening meeting on March 8th at 6:30 p.m. at the San Bernardino County Sheriff Station in Twin Peaks (26010 Highway 189 Twin Peaks, California 92391). Some refreshments will be available!

“What is the Rim Communities for Youth Coalition?,” you may ask. The Rim Communities for Youth Coalition is a group of community members whose goal is to reduce access to drugs and alcohol by youth. We do this is by meeting together with a wide range of community stakeholders, parents, students, and mountain residents and discuss, plan, and implement projects to reduce these problems in our community! Some of their past projects include installing a prescription drug dropbox at our local Sheriff station, creating the Rim Communities Designated Driver Program, and pushing for the county Social Host Ordinance, which cites those who provide a place for underage youth to drink alcohol. If reducing drug abuse and protecting our community is something you are passionate about, please join! Together we can make a difference!
